NAVITEL® has released a global update for all maps - release Q4 2023
We are pleased to announce that, thanks to the massive work of the Cartography Department and Geodesy Service, and to the comprehensive analysis of Navitel Navigator app users’ feedback, NAVITEL® releases a Q4 2023 map update.
All the maps have been supplemented with the residential and industrial infrastructure of all the cities and settlements with the address search feature. Detailed and clear road networks include all streets, lanes, and roads considering traffic direction, road junctions, roundabouts, and other information vital for successful navigation. Also, for all maps of the Q4 2023 release, the data of speed control cameras, road restrictions, changes in the location of traffic signs and directional signs, and signs have been updated.
The maps of the new release contain 18 623 626 km of the road graph, 13 374 633 POI objects, 1 822 339 cities and settlements, of which 372 832 503 unique addresses are available for search.
In all maps of Q4 2023 release address information, POI's data, as well as road network have been updated across all countries. Major updates affected the maps of Czech Republic, Georgia, Hungary, Poland, Slovak Republic, Vietnam.
CZECH REPUBLIC
Added:
- New part of main road I/43, bypass around city Svitavy, between cities Hradec nad Svitavou and Lačnov;
- New part of main road I/44, bypass around city Bludov;
- New part of main road I/38, southeast bypass bypass around city Havlíčkův Brod;
- Part of the road II/385, bypass around city Čebín.
Also, about 40 speed cameras were added on the map.
GEORGIA
- Open sections of the E-60 and E-70 highways have been added.
- Updated road network of some sections based on materials from field teams (video tracks and surveyors’ marks).
HUNGARY
Added:
- New part of main road I/83, between cities Győr and Pápa, around 36 kilometers
- New part of main road 4623, bypass around city Szentkirály
Added and updated the information about 1000 points of interest across the country.
POLAND
A “southern bypass” of the city of Zielona Gora has been added to the map of Poland.
SLOVAK REPUBLIC
- Added new part of main road I/66, bypass around city Brezno
- Around 1000 new different POIs are also added on the map
Address information across the Slovak Republic has been updated.
Each map includes residential and industrial infrastructure of cities and settlements with address search and detailed road network with traffic direction, interchanges, roundabouts, and other relevant navigation information.
